Balayage
Is a free handed hair painting technique used to add a soft dimensional look in lieu of the traditional foils. Balayage tends to give the hair a more subtle sunkissed look with multi dimensional color without the harsh grow outs.
Ombre
Another free handed technique means shaded or graduated tone. Gradually blending one color hue to another. Where hair is darker at the top and lighter at the bottom. The Ombre hair color requires very little upkeep.
Sombre
This free handed technique is a great way to combine the techniques of Balayage with Ombre. Resulting in subtle low maintenance hair color.
Color Melting
Color melting is similar to Ombre and Sombre but requires three or more colors melting them together very gradually. it can be any combination of colors melting together.
Foils
Foils are definitely here to stay! Foil highlights are still the most popular way to add dimension to the hair. From the most subtle highlights referred to as “baby lights” to very bold the options are endless!
